Kefalos Village
A gorgeous village upon a hill lies of the west side, just 40 kilometers away from Kos. It used to be the first capital of the island due to its antiquity! The architecture of the area is what makes it stand out. The houses are all closely built next to each other, thus creating some narrow paths that greatly resemble most of Greek islands! There is a museum, if you’d like to learn of the agriculture of this place and there are plenty of beaches and coves to swim and they offer crystal-clear waters combined with pebbled coasts. Do try some of the local delicacies, such as those made from local honey!
