The Ancient Market or Ancient Agora (in Greek) is a monumental site where many houses, baths and temples have been excavated. These architectural gems were founded between several time periods apart. The columns and the mosaics still preserved give the visitors only an idea of the building’s old glory. Inside the Ancient Market, one can find the Hellenistic Gymnasium as well.
